If you're a regular here, you might have noticed that this site got a bit of an overhaul. I was getting bored with the previous layout and have updated to the recently launched Minnow theme. Up top, you'll see quick-links to my various social media feeds and can feel free to connect with me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Goodreads, and Instagram.
In the upper right, you'll note the three-bar icon, which gives you access to the side menu. Here, you'll find links to my mailing list, contact form, and a few other items of note.
I'm digging this change, so far. It feels like there's a bit more breathing room and I'm glad to get back to a theme that supports infinite scrolling. You'll notice my blog presence is now front and center, so no more having to dig through archives or only catching the latest posts off in the side bar. By using a sticky post, though, I can still highlight my books and stories right up front. I like that quite a bit!
I'm also a big fan of the minimalist aesthetic at work here. Everything is pretty much right where it needs to be, but there may be some tweaks in the future as I learn more about what Minnow is capable of. For now, things are in pretty good working order (I think).
Any tips, suggestions, feedback? I'm open to any ideas on how to improve things around here.
