I couldn't help but notice a solid increase in traffic at this blog today. Turns out, it's because The Guardian linked to my review of Nick Cutter's The Deep in their article about Cutter winning the first-ever James Herbert horror award for his debut novel, The Troop. So, a hearty congratulations to Mr. Cutter for this significant achievement!
