Little Free Library

Neat find while wandering down the main strip in downtown Traverse City this afternoon. Maureen and I were heading to the State Theater to catch a showing of Dead Poet's Society as part of their tribute to Robin Williams. Outside the theater was this: [embed][/embed]

The premise is simple - take a book, leave a book. Spread the joy of literacy to the community simply because reading is its own reward. I love this idea.

Michael Patrick Hicks is the author of the science fiction novels Convergence, an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award 2013 Quarter-Finalist, and Emergence.
